Anastasiya obtained her undergraduate Dental degree (with honours) in 2013 from Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, in Ukraine. After graduation, she practised in Ukraine for two years working in various hospital settings including oral and maxillofacial surgery, paedodontics and restorative departments. At this time, as part of her postgraduate studies, she was awarded a Master of Science degree in Dental Implantology. In 2016, she successfully passed all the statutory exams and became fully registered as a dentist in the UK.

Subsequently, Anastasiya worked as a Senior House Surgeon in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Gloucester Royal Hospital, where she gained experience in the management of a wide range of complex surgical procedures in all aspects of oral surgery and oral medicine. During this time, she gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

During her time at the Gloucester Royal Hospital, Anastasiya also worked in the clinical trials unit, at Bristol dental school. Working alongside Professor Nicola West, she was responsible for simple and complex treatment planning and the management of patients with gum disease. It was during this period that Anastasiya developed her passion for Periodontology (the study of gum disease and its management). Since 2017, Anastasiya has been working in private practices across London providing the full range of dental treatments.

In 2018 was accepted onto the full-time three-year specialist training programme in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. While training at the Eastman, all her clinical activity was focused on treating patients with advanced gum disease – gaining significant experience in both non-surgical as well as complex surgical approaches (including bone regenerative techniques and guided tissue regeneration) and also in the management of patients’ surgical rehabilitation with dental implants.

In September 2021 Anastasiya gained her Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology. She successfully passed all necessary examinations and was granted the Specialty Membership in Periodontics with two Royal Colleges of Surgeons (England and Edinburg), entitling her to registration as a Specialist in Periodontics on the GDC register.

In 2022, Anastasiya was honoured by being the winner of the Clinical fellowship Award from the British Society of Periodontology.

She is currently an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in the unit of Periodontology, UCL Eastman Institute, London and is an ITI Scholar at the University of Bern, Department of Periodontology, Bern, Switzerland .

Anastasiya has recently presented innovative and cutting edge bone regenerative treatment and rehabilitation with dental implants at The International Team for Implantology (ITI) World Symposium 2024 in Singapore.
